Halton Public Health Services

The following Public Health Services are commissioned in Halton:

The Council has taken the decision to abandon the current procurement process. In view of the current Coronavirus (Covid-19) emergency situation, the Council recognises that Community Pharmacies are currently dealing with the impact of this and want to eliminate any additional pressure that this procurement process may present.

Contracts for existing service provision will be extended for a 12 month period from 1st April 2020 up to 31st March 2021 and during this time a review will take place. The Council will be re-advertising for the provision of Public Health Pharmacy Services and will advise when the future procurement exercise for the above service will be undertaken.
